Definition
Just-in-time enablement is training and guidance delivered to a partner seller at the moment they need it, such as before a call or when a deal reaches a certain stage. It adds short, focused help tied to a real situation on top of basic upfront training. The aim is better recall and faster action.
Examples include a short video before a first meeting, a battle card when a competitor shows up in a deal or a pricing guide when a quote is started. Each piece is small and easy to find.
It works best when the vendor can see what a seller is doing, such as deal stage in the PRM or CRM. Basic certification still matters, and just-in-time content builds on it.
In practice
When a partner rep registers a deal that names a certain competitor, the portal sends a short video on how to handle that competitor.
